The efficient use of space through precise interiors benefits Indian homes and any uniquely built spaces in a way that has much more far-reaching benefits than mere aesthetic aspects. We at Tatvaj, believe in the philosophy of ‘Form Follows Function’, where every space is designed to reflect an everyday experience for the user. The creative approach introduces luxurious aesthetics and a charisma to the space for an elevated experience, keeping practical and economically efficient designs in mind.
The physical world around us is in a constant state of change. Countless factors work together to create the world we live in, and as part of it, architects have a role at the frontline to help metamorphose your cocoon from dreamy visuals into tangible reality. Everyday a new design is developed, a new building emerges and accounts for a marginal transformation in the fabric of a city. We at Tatvaj, are such change makers, with an intent to bring positive and beautiful change into people’s lives through this language of architecture.
Ashima Bohra belongs to the city of lakes, Udaipur which is famous for its abiding architectural beauty. As a child, she grew up with the fascination of a floating island in the city. At a very young age, the exposure she received towards appreciation of aesthetics and the historic heritage buildings helped her develop sensitivity towards design and an understanding that the power of creating and molding our surroundings is in our very own hands. Ashima completed her Bachelors in Architecture in India, and a masters in Interior design from The George Washington University, DC.
Although as architects, we create space in an intrinsic manner, she believes the experience of an inhabited space is heightened by its interiors, redefining the lifestyle to represent the people who inhabit it. The activities that occur or the relationships which may evolve between a person and the built structure, can be aided or defined by the interior of the space.
